In this day and age, sleight-of-hand practically defines politics. Universal Health Care, Socialized Medicine and Single-Payer Systems are all political tricksy whose acceptance depends on the success of a political phenomenon called sleight-of-hand.
If he was being honest, Obama would have said that he agreed 100% with what Wright said, just not how he said it. Redistributing wealth is a classic tenet of Rev. Wright's Black Liberation Theology, and redistributing wealth is high on Obama's list.
